應用英語系1A劉容睿和3A徐文芳 (第一組)，1A許致睿和3A李胤群 (第二組)，於2023年12月15日舉行的2023龍華盃全國技專校院英語朗讀比賽中，獲得雙料佳作，為中國科大應英系爭光！
此競賽活動宗旨：鼓勵學生強化專業英語聽說能力，打好專業英語學習基礎，並使用正確而有效的方式學習主修相關專業英語.參賽者以2人一隊，每校限2隊，共21隊為上限。評分工具為「MyET線上評分系統」 (ASAS ©, Automatic Speech Analysis System)。比賽方式為朗讀模式。獲得大學組冠軍很不容易因為需要透過培訓、耐心以及不斷的練習才有此次的成果。希望未來可以繼續為中國科大獲得良好的成績!
We are delighted to congratulate CUTe students Group 1: Toby Liu (class 1A) and Faye Hsu (class 3A), Group 2 Ray Hsu (class 1A) and Eric Li (class 3A) for being awarded honrable mentions amongst all university team participants, beating all other contestants, on December 15, 2023, in a national recitation contest involving two dozens of teams from top national universities. This contest involved 2 students per team, with each university allowed a maximum of 2 teams. It makes all teachers and students proud of their achievement!
The goal of this contest is to motivate students to fortify their listening and speaking capabilities, strengthen their foundation in English for professional purposes, as well as apply proper and effective language learning methods. Scoring applied the use of the MyET online platform that is based on ASAS (Automatic Speech Analysis System). This contest involved recitation of short text passages.
