Netflix begins password sharing crackdown in the US

New York CNN — Netflix is officially beginning its crackdown on users who
share passwords in the United States. The streaming video company on Tuesday
said it is now sending out emails to all US subscribers who share passwords
with people outside their household, as part of a long planned move to limit
password sharing. “Your Netflix account is for you and
the people you live with — your household,” the email reads, along with options
on how to share the account.

Taiwan passes law to bar
convicted felons from running in elections

TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — People convicted for offenses related to organized
crime, guns, drugs, and national security will no longer be allowed to stand in
elections, according to an amendment passed by the Legislative Yuan on Friday
(May 26).The amendments to the Election and Recall Act were valid for all
government posts, including the presidential and legislative elections

the Little Liuqiu Venice Music Festival, scheduled on Saturday (June 10), which
was supposed to take place in an important sea turtle conservation area, per
PTS. From May to October each year, sea turtles come ashore to lay their eggs
on Venice Beach, a precious part of local ecology.

TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — The “TPASS” valid for 30 days of travel on buses,
trains, and Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) trains will launch in three regions on
July 1, the Ministry of Transportation and Communication said Thursday (June
8).The version valid for Taipei, New Taipei, Keelung, and Taoyuan will cost
NT$1,200 (US$39) per month, replacing the existing NT$1,280 fare which can only
be used in Taipei and New Taipei.

"Fengjia McDonald's" in Taichung City officially turned off its
