應用英語系3A饒紘瑞和2A劉子筠，於2022年12月9日舉行的2022龍華盃全國技專校院英語朗讀比賽中，勇奪團體獎第一名！4A陳郁萍和2A曾郁恩，也拿下了佳作，表現十分出色。除了優良的團隊默契讓兩人奪冠，饒紘瑞在個人領域也表現相當出色，更分別摘下個人獎總分第一名及個人獎發音第一名兩項獎。該項比賽四人共計獲得四項獎，囊括了三個第一名！
此競賽活動宗旨：鼓勵學生強化專業英語聽說能力，打好專業英語學習基礎，並使用正確而有效的方式學，主修相關專業英語參賽者以2人一隊，每校限2隊，共21隊為上限。評分工具為「MyET線上評分系統」 (ASAS ©, Automatic Speech Analysis System)。比賽方式為朗讀模式。獲得大學組冠軍很不容易因為需要透過培訓,耐心,以及不斷的練習才有今天的冠軍。 希望未來可以繼續為中國科大獲得良好的成績！
We are delighted to congratulate CUTe students Hung-jui, Jao (class 3A) and Zi-yun Liu (class 2A) for ranking 1st place overall amongst all university team participants, beating all other contestants, on December 9, 2022, in a national recitation contest. Our champions also earned additional awards in the individual categories: Hung-jui, Jao ranked the 1st in total score as well as the 1st in pronunciation. In addition, Yu-ping Chen (class 4A) and Yu-en, Tseng (class 2A) also won the honorary mention. They all perform remarkably well in this MyET contest. They had harvested a total of four prizes and three of them are the 1st prize!
This contest involved 2 students per team, with each university allowed a maximum of 2 teams. The goal of this contest is to motivate students to fortify their listening and speaking capabilities, strengthen their foundation in English for professional purposes, as well as apply proper and effective language learning methods. Scoring applied the use of the MyET online platform that is based on ASAS (Automatic Speech Analysis System). This contest involved recitation of short text passages.
It is difficult and rare to become champions at a national level. Earning #1 as a team is only the result of lengthy, arduous teamwork coaching, patience, and continuous practice. We sincerely hope to reproduce such gratifying results for CUTe in future contests!
