(CNN) —“Presumed human remains” were among
the debris and evidence recovered from the seafloor where the doomed Titan
submersible’s remnants were found, the US Coast Guard said Wednesday. The
remains were recovered “within the wreckage” of the submersible, the Coast
Guard said in a news release – an announcement coming nearly a week after
authorities determined the Titanic-bound vessel had imploded in the North
Atlantic, killing all five men aboard.

incident. On Sunday, hundreds of people gathered in New Taipei City to

around 11 p.m. on Tuesday (June 27) said it had detected two Russian Navy
frigates off the east coast of the country. At 9 p.m. on Tuesday, the Facebook

class light frigates 26 nautical miles (48 km) off the coast of Yilan County's

Taiwan’s MediaTek ranked
fifth among IC designers in first quarter
TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Taiwanese fabless chipmaker MediaTek was ranked
fifth in the world among integrated circuit (IC) designers during the first
quarter, according to tech research firm TrendForce. MediaTek’s overall revenue
during the first quarter fell to US$3.15 billion (NT$97.8 billion),
representing an 8.8% quarter-on-quarter decline. Its market share fell to 9.3%
from 10.2% a quarter earlier.
